# Schedule Visibility

## Schedule Visibility

#### Introduction

Date/time-range visibility scheduling lets you limit a custom shortcode to a start and/or end date and time, rather than it always being visible. Useful for time-limited banners, promotions, or announcements.

#### How to enable

When creating or editing a shortcode, you'll see a section called "Schedule visibility" with two fields:

* **Visible from** - the shortcode won't render before this date/time.
* **Visible until** - the shortcode won't render after this date/time.

Leave either (or both) blank for no limit on that side. Times are evaluated against your WordPress site's configured timezone (Settings > General).
